It's The Little Things
It's been a long, long day and the house will be empty when I get home. So I'll share my thoughts with Jesus and the 3 people who might read this...
Today I'm really thankful for good Chinese take-out, comfortable shoes, a quiet night and possibly 1/2 price Easter candy.
From the 3rd person who read this -- I agree! And my little thing today was the cat annoying me just because she wanted to sleep in my lap. When I gave up trying to work and let her do that, we both had a lovely time. Such a little thing.
I've traded cute shoes for comfortable shoes - the very thing that I gave my mother a hard time about. Even worse, I've started with the comfortable shoes at a much younger age than my mom did. Speaking of 1/2 price Easter candy...just discovered the Hershey's kisses with coconut creme on Kroger's 1/2 price Easter candy. Yum!
It's good to be thankful for the little things in life. Comfortable shoes are always way high on my thankful list. :)
ReplyDeleteI wore sandals to work today and then ended up walking around campus and my feet just ache. Good shoes really can make a difference.
